Each presentation is geared toward your church, school, business, day care, hospital, synagogue, nursing home, or community group.  

Rev. Edie Weinstein-Moser, MSW aka Kate Joy is a graduate of the New Seminary in New York City, Reiki Master and an ordained Interfaith Minister assigned to the staff of The Interfaith Temple.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in 1981 and a Master of Social Work Degree from Rutgers University in 1985.  Since that time, she has worked with individuals, couples and families facing life challenges.

She was ordained through the New Seminary, a two year program based in New York City. It is a a 501C3 non-profit organization, incorporated under the guidelines of the Board of Regents of the University of NY on behalf the NY State Deptartment of Education. She is ordained by the Interfatith Temple and is on the staff of the Interfaith Temple of New York.

Edie is permitted to perform legal wedding ceremonies throughout the United States.

In 1988, along with her husband Michael, she co-founded Visions Magazine, a monthly publication focusing on alternative health, psychology & spirituality.  She has interviewed such notables as Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Grover Washington, Jr., Olympia Dukakis, Ben & Jerry, Patch Adams, Shirley MacLaine, Kenny Loggins and Dennis Weaver.

Edie has learned a great deal about healing as the adoptive parent of a special needs child and a care giving and bereaved spouse.  Michael died on December 21, 1998 while awaiting a liver transplant.   She is also a volunteer for The Gift of Life Donor Program.  One of her greatest pleasures is writing and she is working on a book that she and Michael had begun entitled, "liveinjoy".  Her writing has been printed in publications such as New Visions, Holistic Living, The Doylestown Intelligencer and The Bucks County Writer.  She has been interviewed by the Philadelphia Inquirer, WWDB 96.5 and National Public Radio.  Her alter-ego is "Feather", a clown who teaches people the value of healthy humor.  She has discovered laughter as a balm for her own emotional wounds.
