Rev. Edie Weinstein, MSW is a graduate of the New Seminary in New York
City, Reiki Master and an ordained Interfaith Minister assigned to the
staff of The Interfaith Temple. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Psychology from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in 1981
and a Master of Social Work Degree from Rutgers University in 1985.
Since that time, she has worked with individuals, couples and families
facing life challenges.
Cuddle Party is a 3 1/2 hour experiential workshop for adults that focuses on communication, boundary setting, safe, nurturing, non-sexual touch. Participants (singles and couples) attend in pj’s., sweats or yoga clothes and after The Welcome Circle which explores our experiences… with touch, relationships, going over the Rules of Cuddling, creating a safe container, we move into ‘freestyle cuddling’ which is spooning, snuggling, massage, nuzzling….all with verbal consent.
In the 6 years that I have been a certified facilitator, I have seen relationships start, others thrive and still more, heal as a result of folks attending this powerful workshop.
